Pakistan has historically been victim to heavy rains and floods. Due to the poor infrastructure, a lack of drainage system, and little to no preparation at all, hundreds of thousands of people are displaced annually by heavy rains. In 2022, almost 1/3 of the nation had been flooded at a time and over 30 billion dollars of damage had struck the nation. The effects of these storms are only worse in villages and rural areas. The people living in these areas often lack access to the basic necessities for living and after damaging storms they need any help they can get. For this reason, our organization gathered around $5,000 and led a mission to create wells in some of these areas. We were able to construct two centralized solar powered wells, with 7 pumps spanning to villages in the area. These wells gave water access to hundreds of individuals much in need of the recourse.Â
